I’m a full stack designer with a passion visual media, user experience and accessibility.

When I am not at my desk…
I am training in Mixed Martial Arts and Brazilian JiuJitsu. I love the empowering nature around these sports. My coaches and training partners have taught me an abundance beyond just getting physically stronger, but patience, kindness, and connection that comes from working together.

Experience

  • 2022 - Present

    • Provided creative direction and graphic design for product demos and weather content, generating unique styles, generating positive reception for sales and implemented on weather.com, TWC socials, and at the National Association of Broadcasters conference. 

    • Established working relationships with broadcast meteorologists from Weather Group, CBS, Grey, and Tegna, generating consistent feedback loop for  design iterations and workshopping.

    • Lead product designer for Velocity, a web based weather content creation tool.

    • Part of the product design team for Reelsphere, an automated weather content renderer leveraging Ai tools and the capabilities of Max to generate hyper local weather stories.

    Introduction to digital media design focusing on Web design. Conceptual approaches to structuring information and interaction, basic graphic design considerations germane to networked media, and basic production skills.

  • 2021 - 2022

    • Part of an international design group acting as an in-house design agency for the CIO

    • Lead UX/UI improvements to simplify IBM Z Server financing web platform.

  • 2019 - 2021

    • Redesigned user interface of the Pattern Customizer through wire-framing, prototyping, and user feedback. Implementation of Pattern Customizer featured on JoAnn Fabrics as a web app.

    • Performed design audit of Saas and consumer web platforms to capture workflows, developed and implemented plan to improve efficiency and UX  in collaboration with the engineering team. 

  • 2017 - 2019

    • Undertook redesign of Prologue’s user interface and expansion of icon library, resulting in positive feedback  and increased program participation.

    • Designed and implemented brand partnerships with Cotopaxi, OrganicGirl, and New York Times Cooking into marketing materials and campaigns into the Prologue app.
